Distance Obligation Inequality Fate Hesitancy Stability Opportunity Mortality Reality Prosperity Suffering Desire
Over my lifetime, I have discovered that simplicity and depth go together. Dietrich Schindler's book, Profound, masterfully contains both. It is a seminal primer of serious reflection about some of life's most basic questions. Timeless and timely, this book deftly quotes some of the best ancient and modern sources. As I read each chapter in sequence, I wondered if the next chapters could be as good as the ones I had already read. My imagination said no, but as I continued reading, reality said yes! I highly recommend this book for all thinkers, both Christian and non-Christian alike.
