episode 1. A class session in which Harvard professor C. Roland "Chris" Christensen leads a group of students in a discussion of how to lead a discussion episode 2. Professor Sandel discusses how he successfully motivates his students to interact during his lectures and consider the issues of classical and contemporary moral and political philosophy. This video shows three different segments from his lectures covering utilitarianism, teaching creationism or evolution in public schools, and the practice of affirmative action. In each lecture he helps his students discover the philosophical foundations which underlie contemporary issues.
