Summary: China's Unreached Cities is a prayer book intended for a Christian audience. From the massive mega-cities of central China to the Muslim dominated cities in the northwest, China is teeming with millions of souls for whom little evangelistic effort has ever been put forth. Each of the 52 cities in the book is attractively presented with photographs, maps, graphs, information on the ethnic composition and spiritual strongholds of the city, and insights into why the city has been neglected with the Gospel. Many of the cities profiled are strategic gateways to unreached people groups. Many Western Christians know of the great revival that has affected China, but few realize the spread of the revival has been somewhat geographically limited to several provinces in the eastern and southeastern parts of the nation. There are still hundreds of millions of people in China who have never heard the Gospel or the Name of Jesus Christ. One China expert explains, "We must reach the cities because that is where the people are... By the year 2010 it is estimated that half of Chinas population will live in urban areas - up from 28% in 1994. Most of this growth is a result of the migration of rural people to the cities in search of better jobs. In recent years more than 100 million people have left rural communities to seek a better life in the cities of China... The cities of China, as you will discover in the pages of this book, are largely unevangelized. Christians comprise less than 1% of the population in most cities. It is my prayer and belief that this book will awaken the church around the world to the challenge of urban ministry in China. https://www.amazon.com/Chinas-Unreached-Cities-Vol-I-Hattaway/dp/9748530388/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=9748530388&qid=1595258568&sr=8-1
