The poems in this collection helped me come to terms with life in the USA during 2020. Without a Flight Plan is not academic. It's artistic. Each poem is a fragment of the whole. A tiny window into my world. A way of sorting out the real from the false. Not just in everyday life and politics during 2020, but in nature. Writing poetry helps me find myself. The poems are like waking dreams that beg to be explored. They are presented in chronological order, and in assorted formats. Think of each poem as a painting in a gallery. An invitation to let my world have a conversation with your world. During my years of teaching at a seminary in the Northeast, I had two books published that provide additional insight into my life: Making Friends with the Bible (coauthored), and Confessions of a Beginning Theologian. ~ AMAZON
