Beginning in 2011, the original 55-volume edition of Luther's works in English (issued 1955-1986) is being expanded to include 20 new volumes. The first of these to be published is volume 60 (Prefaces II), which is being followed by volumes 56-59 and volumes 61 and above.--See volume 60, Publisher's preface (volume 60, page xvii).
Christopher Boyd Brown, Benjamin T. G. Mayes: General Editors for volumes 56-82; Jaroslav Pelikan served as General Editor for volumes 1-30; Helmut T. Lehmann served as General Editor for volumes 31-55.
