Imperative 1: Be sure -- Imperative 2: Be focused -- Imperative 3: Be humble -- Imperative 4: Be discerning -- Imperative 5: Be complementary -- Imperative 6: Be uncompromising -- Imperative 7: Be encouraged.
Drawing from the life and character of the biblical "wild man" John the Baptist, the author establishes seven distinct imperatives and explores these characteristics in today's leaders, from Mother Teresa to Michael Jordan, from Pastor Tony Evans to Coach Tony Dungy--as well as in characters from movies.--From publisher description.
