Robert C. McQuilkin was the first president of Columbia International University from 1923-1952 (then known as Columbia Bible College). He was a well-known speaker and author, proclaiming the "Victorious Christian Life" message. He also founded the Ben Lippen Conference Center, a place where the Victorious Christian Life was proclaimed and where young people were encouraged to serve on the mission field. McQuilkin authored many books, including "Let Not Your Heart be Troubled", "The Lord is My Shepherd", "Victory in Christ", and "Joy and Victory".
