William Hendriksen (1900-1982) was a renowned New Testament scholar and commentator known for his conservative theological stance and his detailed exegesis of the Bible. Born in the Netherlands, Hendriksen moved to the United States where he pursued his theological education. He earned his Th.D. from Princeton Theological Seminary, a notable achievement that reflects his deep commitment to theological studies. Hendriksen served as a pastor in the Christian Reformed Church before transitioning into an academic career. He taught at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for many years, where he influenced a generation of pastors and theologians with his insightful and devout approach to Scripture.
