Indeed, It's Wonderful To Be Young. Thirteen well and lesser known young people, men and women, some of them still under age kids from Old and New Testament times model for us some amazing qualities. Some traits like courage, adaptability, learning abilities are to be expected, but others are more surprising, such as curiosity, holy stubbornness, winning the favor of everybody. Each character profile is presented starting with the biblical source text, general observations, personal application for us, meaning for today's youth and a final conclusion. Many personal experiences and stories, taken from history or the author's context in Nigeria, make these studies even more valuable and interesting to read. |

Dr. Danny McCain has many accomplishments to his name, but most of all: He loves God's Word and hardly misses an opportunity to preach and teach, but only after thoughtfully studying and handling God's book. As of Biblical Theology in the Department of Religious Studies at the University of Jos, Nigeria and founder and director-at-large of the International Institute for Christian Studies (IICS) he has impacted public universities around the world. Since 1994 he has been developing material fro teachers of Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) and conducting seminars, and has been in the forefront of promoting faith-based approaches to the AIDS pandemic in Africa. |
