520 3 _aThis research was designed to answer the question, "What are the characteristics of adult to student structured mentoring programs occurring in Christian high schools?" In the process of answering this question, the following two sub-questions were also answered: "What role does the mentor and mentee play in an adult to student structured mentoring program?" This study involved administering 28 question survey to Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) accredited high schools located in the United States and serving grades nine thru twelve. this descriptive study provided a part of the foundational literature base for further study on best practices of adult to student structured mentoring programs in Christian high schools in the United States.
