N2  - The events we are about to consider, in the gospel of Luke, occurred in the world's history a long time ago, in a strange and distant land. In the gospel of John attention is focused upon a wonderful situation where glory prevails, the center of the glory being the King of kings and Lord of lords. But in Luke there is a revelation of Jesus Christ without that atmosphere of glory.
