Our nation has been and continues to be in a state of racial crisis. Conversations that will make an impact on how racial groups deal with each other, particularly the African American and Caucasian community are abounding. In the midst of the unrest happening within all communities in our world, the question is, "How is the church to provide pastoral care for people in these volatile times?" The context of African American individuals, the church, and community are in a state of change. It is critical for the church to respond during these changing times. The aim of this work is to present a model of pastoral care that is beneficial for teaching and training pastors, ministers, and laypersons, resulting in a greater understanding of pastoral care in changing times. Therefore, enabling church leaders and caregivers to have a greater effectiveness in carrying out this care giving ministry in the church. https://www.amazon.com/RETHINKING-PASTORAL-CARE-CHANGING-TIMES/dp/173578480X/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=9781735784809&qid=1630344926&sr=8-1
