Abstract: Project is an instrument of change and no project is complete unless its objective is achieved. Every project is specific and unique. The term project is evolving and constantly changing, with the increasing emphasis on social and infrastructure projects, executives, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders have to look into the managerial and financing aspects of infrastructure and social projects This Volume is devoted to the financing aspects and offers a look into the New Sources of Financing with particular reference to infrastructure and social projects and the PPP approaches relating thereto, Government Funding Policy, and the project sponsor and the issues relating to time and cost over-run of projects. The objectives to be delivered are presented at the beginning of each chapter; and some project instances, brief case examples and case studies so as to provide an analytical kit for executives and professionals are given at the end. The book makes for a lucid reading and works as a guide for the reader. It has been written on the based on our experience(s) gained and also feedback collected from teaching, training and delivering various consultancy projects. Suggestions/comments and feedback are welcome.
