Subject: In the early chapters of this book, reference was made to Psalms 95 and the number of "LET US" phrases used by the Psalmist. One of the encouragements in this book is to have the reader personalize the key phrase. In place of "LET US", one should personalize the phrase to be "LET ME." Why should this be done? Because, the Scriptures principally teach what one is to believe concerning God and the duty God requires of each one. This is why "LET US/LET ME" is not a suggestion but a direction for one to live by. It is a mandate for one's life and ultimate happiness in the Lord. We learn that there many uses of the phrase "LET US" in scripture and that this is not a suggestion but a directive. We are challenged to become spiritually mature Christians by following these directives so that we may withstand the many challenges that come our way as ambassadors of Christ. But to do so we must prepare ourselves. We must become men and women after God's heart.
