The study describes and analyzes a Christian English language program, and assesses its effectiveness in training young Papuans in English, spiritual formation and leadership. The result of the study is that TITIP is a promising and effective program that achieves most of its objectives and in general adheres to good principles of teaching and training design as reflected in the research. The strength of the program lies especially in its spiritual formation of the students and its teaching of English. For many students going through the program is a life changing experience.
