Retention deans and directors give their opinion of the impact of financial aid, academic advising, tutoring services, psychological counselling, information literacy, physical campus facilities - and many other factors - on student retention.The report also presents data on the campus retention infrastructure including data on the number and type of schools with a chief retention administrator and spending levels on retention consulting. Participants also comment on their most successful retention initiatives with various students cohorts including disabled students, ethnic and racial minorities, sophomores and other cohorts.
