This study sought to discover the experiences of eight men who were participants in a ministry called DiscipleMakers4Jesus (DM4J) and assess their perspectives as it pertained to their own spiritual growth during their year of intensive discipleship training. It was important to understand the effectiveness of DM4J as it pertained to the spiritual lives of not only these eight men, but of all thirty two men who were participants duirng the years between 2006-2010 Each man learned about the importance of not only what made a disciple of Jesus an effective one, but also was encouraged to become a disciple maker for Jesus.
