First, there is a limited number of Scripture passages that deal with divorce and remarriage. And in some cases, they are not easily interpreted. As a result, a considerable difference of opinion is held on the subject, so much so that a new convert might find the conflicting views from various Bible teachers rather than perplexing and confusing.
